Overview of the phases of the ERP selection process

A successful ERP selection process consists of several structured phases that build on each other. We guide you through each of these phases and ensure that decisions are made in a well-founded and transparent manner.

ERP Auswahlprozess
Phase 1 – Design in ERP selection process: Analyze processes and define requirements

In the design phase, we first work together with you to capture your current business processes (as-is state) and analyze them in detail. Based on your business operations, we then develop optimized target processes that are tailored to your specific requirements. During this process, we specifically identify weaknesses and derive functional requirements for the new ERP system from them. Best practice processes which are tailored to specific industries are considered. Finally, we document all target processes and requirements comprehensibly in a structured requirements specification.

Phase 2 – Selection within the ERP selection process: Compare and choose ERP-systems objectively

As soon as the requirements specification is finalized, the selection phase begins. In this step, we use our ERP tool, which provides a structured overview as well as a solid evaluation of potential ERP systems. By using targeted tenders and illustrative system presentations, we create a transparent basis for decision-making. Together with your key users, we compare the options and support you in the final decision-making process.

Phase 3 – Implementation

In the implementation phase, we provide targeted support in the area of project management. This includes, among other things, aligning the project schedule with your business leads, project controlling, and continuous monitoring of progress. In doing so, we adapt our services to your internal resources and align them with your individual requirements to ensure that the project can be carried out efficiently and smoothly. We can provide further services in context of the fit-gap analysis, data migration and test preparation.

We guide you through the whole ERP selection process.
