Twenty Years’ Service to Textile, Apparel, Home Fashions,Technical Fabrics, Accessories, Nonwovens, Floor Coverings and Rolled Goods

In 1987, Rovetex, a leading Swiss textile consulting group, and Datasys, one of Italy’s most progressive software development companies, joined forces and created Datatex focusing on unique manufacturing solutions for the industry. In subsequent years support for major production-related business processes for textiles was delivered. Commitment to continuous enhancement ensures that industry requirements are met using the latest, most reliable and pervasive technologies.The results are impressive: Datatex now has over 25,000 actual manufacturing users in this segment.

Since its founding, Datatex has grown year after year while keeping pace with its customers’ changing requirements. Datatex truly serves as a worldwide provider of information systems for the textile industry by leveraging best practice experiences from around the globe with research and development (R&D) centers in Germany, Israel, the USA, and Italy. Datatex specialized software solutions are designed for customers working across the full spectrum of industry segments: textile manufacture, apparel, home fashions, technical fabrics, accessories, nonwovens, rolled goods and floor coverings.

Its solutions cater both for vertically integrated companies and those carrying out just one or two stages of the process from fiber to finished product.

Standard technologies make implementation faster and easier and aid integration with other systems and platforms. Current Datatex solutions are Web-based and use J2EE and XML to facilitate network links with customers and supply-chain partners in the textile and apparel industry
