CSB businessware© is a powerful software for the integrated management of all ERP processes- from procurement to production and sales, traceability and quality management. The integrated CIM solution as part of the CSB-System uses information technology to link all administrative and operative business processes to form a uniform system, which includes all functional areas of the company as well as all external production and storage locations. The existing hardware is modified in line with the customer's requirements and optimally adjusted to the needs of the user company.

1977
Foundation of CSB-System GmbH by Dr. Peter Schimitzek

1981
Development of the first specialized turnkey IT solution for the food industry

1986
Foundation of the first domestic CSB subsidiary

1989/90
German reunification and the following market expansion lead to tremendous growth: 85% of the meat processing companies in Eastern Germany install CSB-System hardware and software.

1990/91
The increasing success necessitates a move to new premises in the industrial area of Niederheid in Geilenkirchen.

1992
Groundbreaking new development for connecting telephone systems – the CSB-Phonemaster.

Official approval of the world first CSB-Ultra-Meater in 1992 and successful implementation in various meat companies. The calibratable distance measuring device for grading pig carcasses is the main topic at IFFA.

1995
DIN EN ISO 9001 certification of the entire company. Therewith, the software developer sets new standards on a European level for only very few IT companies have been awarded such a certificate.

1996
CSB-System AG takes over business operations

1999
CSB-System AG receives the German VDI award, VDI-Förderpreis für Logistik, for its innovative logistics solution.

2000
CSB-System AG receives the Milestones award by the German federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia for its integrated CRM solution Communication Ware. The powerful Communication Ware solution allows for full integration of all communication media in the industry-specific software CSB-System.

CSB-System AG receives the European FoodTec Award for its paperless order processing, picking and delivery solution.
