The company bekro Chemie GmbH manufactures pigments and dyes which are designed for the special requirements of candle makers. Since its establishment in 1966, the company has grown from a pioneer to today‘s leading producer of colourants for candles. With 100 different shades, the standard colour range offers a large spectrum of the most popular candle colours. Overall, bekro offers 14,000 different items. High quality standards play a central role in the development of the colours because the colour quality has a crucial influence on the quality of the candle, e.g. as regards its looks and burning behaviour.

CSB-System Manages Business Processes

bekro is using the integrated business IT solution by CSB-System AG to guarantee the high quality standards and to control the complex process environment in an efficient and transparent way. Using this industry-specific solution, the company is able to cover all business processes in an ideal way. All business areas – from order placement to picking, delivery and invoicing – are centrally managed by the CSB-System.

Classification and labelling of finished products are important requirements to be met by the CSB-System. bekro is using the integrated powerful Hazardous Materials Management system which offers essential advantages as regards manufacturing, storage and distribution of raw materials and products as well as associated processes.
