The procedure

The ERP selection tool is an efficient tool for preselecting a suitable ERP system on the basis of a database, that is frequently updated.

Out of a number of ERP providers you select those who best meet your requirements:

• Total list of products is first reduced using knock out criteria.
• The user specifies his requirements by putting weights to the functional areas relevant for his organisation.
• Within the selected functional areas weights can be set on a more detailed level for certain subfunctions.
• The ERP-systems in the database are matched against these requirements.
• As a result the user gets a ranking of the ERP-systems fulfilling the K.O. criteria and is able to view the fit on the level of the different functional areas, for each product.

Furthermore, the user gets an ERP selection report showing the results of the ERP selection. This ensures a ful documentation of the project.
