Performance Range

• We develop strategies for the economic operation of logistic systems and elaborate concepts for the structure of production logistics and the distribution of goods.
• We plan, simulate, and realize networked material flows and logistic systems for use in industry, trade, and the service sector.
• We develop computer-supported planning and simulation tools for the industrial suppliers and users of modern material flow components.
• We elaborate analysis methods and optimization processes for logistic problems. These processes and methods are used, for example, in distribution systems that encompass all of Europe.
• We construct and develop innovative, mechanical engineering components and systems for the realization of physical material flows (including controlling devices and peripheral devices). We realize these components and systems in pilot systems together with our customers.

Implementation of New Processes and Technologies
If required, we also support you during the implementation of new processes and technologies by offering the following services:

• Conducting tests in our demonstration centre using modern equipment,
• Training your employees onsite,
• Post-implementation services.

Research CooperationIn
addition to the services we offer during innovation planning, we also provide the following services:

• Feasibility studies, calculation of profitability, and market analyses,
• Information about business promotion funds for research especially for small and medium-sized companies.

Services for Small and Medium-sized Companies
General research projects, such as the development of key technologies and solutions for traffic and environmental problems, can also be supported by public funds. We strive to help small and medium-sized companies find support for their projects by using our know-how and experience from our collaborations with regional, intraregional, and international partners from science and the economy.
